The
Center is responsible for the operation of two
programs for abused and
neglected children and youth, Open Gate
(ages birth to 12) and Another Chance
(ages 13-17). The Center also operates a transitional
living program, Turning Point,
for older adolescent ages 17 – 21.
Turning Point serves young adults who have been
in the foster care or juvenile justice system
for most of their lives.
OPEN GATE Open
Gate exists to provide a refuge for children
who are victims of abuse and neglect.
ANOTHER
CHANCE Another
Chance is the only program of its kind in
the state of Georgia because of the diversity
of its target population and the array of
services offered.
TURNING
POINT Turning
Point is designed to provide vocational
and independent living skills for older
adolescents enabling them to become self-sufficient
adults and in turn decrease their dependency
on social services.
